STEP UP TO THE
Dear Raider Families,
As we launch a new and exciting school year for 2021-2022, we hope you will consider giving to our annual PTO fundraiser, Raider Challenge. Raider Challenge is the only PTO fundraiser at MIS/HPMS, and the donations from our families directly impact every student’s academic experience, support our teachers and promote the best learning environment for our students.
Now more than ever we need to come together to support our students, school and community. The Raider Challenge needs at least $700 per student to “meet the challenge” and reach the $1.5 million goal set for this school year. This year’s focus is enriching experiences for all as we concentrate on professional development for our teachers, ongoing technology enhancement, support for the MIS Spanish program, supplementing teacher salaries and ongoing recurring expenses for MIS and HPMS.
During this year’s Raider Challenge we want to encourage 100% participation at ANY amount. In the past some families may have felt that if they didn’t contribute the per student amount the money would not be appreciated. We want to take away that stigma and emphasize that every dollar counts. I would ask you to consider giving what you can, whether it be $100 or $100,000. If 100 families that had previously not given donate $100 that would be an additional $10,000 to support our teachers and school. Each family that contributes $25 or more will receive a MIS/HPMS vinyl cling of frequently used phone numbers, email addresses and social media for MIS, HPMS, PTO and Dads Club. This is a great way to quickly stay connected with all aspects of MIS/HPMS. If we exceed our participation from last year, we will hold a school wide celebration.
With the amazing support from our Raider families and community, we can achieve our Raider Challenge goal and prepare our students for future success. Thank you for your consideration and generosity.
